This work explains and discusses some of the concepts inherent in the p-adaptive technique. Its main purpose is to explain the development and application of the p-adaptive Boundary Integral Equation Method (BIEM) in practical elastostatics engineering situations. It also includes a pseudocode, with examples, which illustrates the way for generating the p-adaptive system of equations in microcomputers.
